International Student Advisor & DSO, Santa Clara University 

Santa Clara, CA — May 2013 - Sept. 2013

 

Served as a Designated School Official issuing I20s and updating student

records in the federal SEVIS database. Advised international students on F1

visa requirements and on their employment options through CPT and OPT.

Accomplishments

  • Processed over 300 I20 requests from initial applicants, transfer students, and change of visa status applicants.

Completed internship with IIE’s Global Scholarships and Exchanges division.

Developed application processes and programming for scholarship programs

sponsored by Mattel, Chevron, and Toyota. Coordinated the selection panels for
