About Alex

Alex has built his career in International Education Management since 2006 by serving as a DSO in the Global Engagement Office at Santa Clara University, advising students on international fellowships at Stanford, and serving as the education coordinator at NASA Ames Research Center, among other private and non-profit educational organizations. He is currently pursuing dual masters degrees in International Education Management and Public Administration at the Monterey Institute of International Studies. Alex has extensive experience designing and delivering educational programming for international students, as well as advising students regarding their Visa and legal concerns.

Specialty Skills: Designated School Official authorized to advise F-1 Visa holders, experience with J-1 Visa program management, Data Analysis and Visualization, Internship and Fellowship program design and evaluation, Higher education administration and policy analysis. 

Practicum at Child Family Health International as International Programs Intern

From June - November, 2014 I will be completing my graduate school practicum at Child Family Health International, which is an NGO provider of community-based Global Health Education Programs for health science students. In my role as the International Programs and Partnerships Intern, I will be assisting CFHI with the development of new pre-departure training modules, competency evaluations for returning students, workshops, and other assignments.
